Dear William:

It has been three months since we returned from the vacation of a lifetime with Cook’s Air Tours in South Africa, and we are still talking about our amazing experience and sharing our unbelievable photographs with everyone.

How can one articulate the experience of being a guest in the bush of elephants, giraffes, hippopotamus, lions, and all the other wild and untamed animals of Africa?  It’s truly not possible without being present and you provided us with an incredible safari.  How many people every get the opportunity to have a morning walk with a Cheetah and to touch her and have a photo-I am guessing very few!

Inkasi in the bush was a wonderful rustic lodge with the most amazing staff (Julie, Leah, George & Ephesus) providing us with the most delicious meals outside by an open fire, underneath a clear star filled sky.  One could sit on the veranda and watch the watering hole for an array of animals.

Cape Town’s coastline was truly beautiful and to be able to stand on the shore of where the Atlantic Ocean & Indian Ocean join and look out over the horizon-breathtaking!  To stand atop of Table Mountain, & Cape Good Hope and view the world-spectacular!  As one walked along the shore Penguins & Ostriches were your companions.

What fun to experience the wine country, and to spend an afternoon indulging in tasteful South African wines.

William, you were the most incredible host providing us with so many extra experiences that go beyond the itinerary.  Your warmth, knowledge, sense of humour, made this trip one that we cannot wait to return to see more of what South Africa offers with you as our Guide!

Anyone who books with Cook’s Air Tours is going to get so much more than the can every image!  Can’t wait to return!!

Dear William,

I write with reference to our recent holiday to South Africa, with your company. It is very rare that I put pen to paper to commend an organization, however on this occasion it is fully justified.

Not knowing where to begin, I will start by saying this holiday exceeded my expectations of a “Safari Holiday”

On arrival we were greeted with a warm South African welcome, and then began our journey from Johannesburg to the Kruger Park, just the sights on the way were fantastic and a taste of what lies ahead. Arriving at Inkasi Game Lodge a private game farm next to the Kruger Park to our air conditioned thatched houses, walk onto our patio which overlooked the watering hole. It was not just the fantastic accommodation, the food; service and pool were all of a very high standard. Never before did I imagine you could be so comfortable in such a rustic environment. Wow! The safari’s which was included in the price and the entertainment at the various complexes was all extremely enjoyable. The prices of the trips were competitive, if not cheaper than other organization’s! The first was a drive through the Kruger Park where we were lucky enough to spot a Lioness nursing her cubs, the second we began our day having breakfast at Timbavati Picnic spot then followed by sundowners at Jos’s Bush pub later that afternoon. The following day was one of my favorites we were lucky enough to have a tour through Moholoholo Animal Rehabilitation were I got the chance to touch a baby Hippo and my brave husband fed vulture on his arm! Our final day was spent with a game drive in the Timbavati with supper under the trees.  I can truly say we were treated like royalty and is definitely as described and more “A Safari with a Difference”

The value for money was such that I have never experienced previously, and I thank you for such an enjoyable holiday and I am left with the memories of my African adventure which I surely will never forget!

All the best for the future

Kind Regards

Dear William

We had an excellent trip to Drakensberg and Kruger. William calls it “Safari with a Difference”, and that is definitely true. He has put a lot of thought into creating an experience very different from the run-of-mill-find-the-big-five tours and it is a very personal experience.

We stayed all alone at a private lodge outside the park, just with William and the two extremely friendly personnel Julia and George. One highlight was our very own dusk game drive with George, having a sunset drink surrounded by giraffes. Fantastic. Visiting the Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre also offered a different kind of experience and perspective, even though it was somewhat disturbing to hear that Kruger is actually a zoo, albeit a very big Zoo. But we did see the big five in the wild…

Hi William

Just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our trip to South Africa, and thank you for such an informative fun filled month.

From our pickup at Johannesburg airport to when we visited the Inkasi Game Lodge; getting very close to nature.  Meeting some unusual insect life, a little bit closer than anticipated!  The drive through the Kruger was fantastic, though being so green and lush at that time, it was a little harder to spot game, so thank you very much for ensuring we saw all the big 5, that day.

We had some wonderful meals during our time, breakfast at the Timbavati Picnic Spot was a highlight, and our sundowners at Jos’s Bush Pub was beautiful.  Even meeting up with that scorpion, though I think he was on his last legs!

My favorite day was when we visited the Moholoholo Animal rehabilitation, feeding a vulture on my arm, playing with a baby hyena, and just seeing what a great job was being done for the wildlife in need.

Grah’s favorite was seeing the White Lions.  We didn’t even know they existed.  Though some have now been bought over to New Zealand.

We did so much in our month, with swimming at the pool overlooking a waterhole, to eating scrumptious BBQ’s (Braai), and meeting some wonderful people, to viewing God’s Window.

We look forward to coming out again, and always recommend to our friends looking for that special holiday.

Kind regards

Julia & Graham Lee
